Well people the latest development on the spot-fixing scandal is that Salam Butt and Mohammad Amir have reached Dubai for their hearing. Both the players are accompanied by their lawyers and are presented in front of the ICC’s code of conduct commission chairman, Michael Beloff. To remind you, these players along with Muhammad Asif were alleged for spot fixing during Pakistan’s tour to England this summer. However, Muhammad Asif has withdrawn his appeal. The rumor was spread when a British tabloid suspected these players for spot fixing and requested the Scotland Yard to investigate in this regard. The trio was questioned by the police and the players are still waiting for there clearance from the ICC code of conduct commission. Because of the suspensions all the three players have been dropped out from Pakistan’s current series which is taking place in United Arab Emirates against South Africa. Now it’s in the hands of Michael Beloff to declare the final verdict. Well all we can do is to hope for some positive results but if they will be found guilty for crime then the criminals cannot runaway and will be punished!
