Pakistan cricket team has started its journey for mega event, but a real fact still exists that the team is not 100% equipped for the ICC World Cup which is going to start on 19 Feb. Pakistan is in Group A along with Australia, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe, Canada and Kenya which are called as big playing teams. Australia didn’t played really good in last series as well as New Zealand has showed a poor performance against Bangladesh and if we observe India then they also lost there series with heavy margin. Pakistan has beaten New Zealand in ODI & test series but lost the T20 series which credit goes to New Zealand. With these conditions Pakistani team have a strong position but they faces different challenges like Salman But, M. Asif and M. Amir are band from World of cricket, Zulqarnin case, specially PCB drop some key players (Sohail Tanveer) which creates more problems for Pakistan team.
Shahid Khan Afridi now selected as captain for ICC World Cup announced On Friday December 3 and he accepted that team is not fully fit for mega event. The skipper also said that Kamran Akmal, Abdul Razzaq and Shoaib Akhtar and him self will be the match wining players. We hope that Pakistan overcome all these crucial matters and gives their best performance which had never seen after 1992 World Cup. Good luck Pakistan.
