England bowlers and batsmen showed great cricket performance in the series to help England conquer the series. Andrew Strauss is the proud skipper to guide his team to victory and also did a decent job with the bat as well. Matt Prior who performed fantastically in the series also accomplished his feat of scoring a maiden century against Australia.

Ricky Ponting will have to go through a lot of critics after an unsuccessful campaign against England in the Ashes. It would be interesting to see the approach of cricket Australia for the World Cup 2011, will Ricky Ponting still be leading his team in the World Cup after a humiliating defeat or he will be axed from the team. To know all that you will just have to wait and watch.
