Biography-Yuvraj Singh


Yuvraj Singh is an asset for Indian cricket team. He was born at Chandigarh of India in 1981. He served his team as the vice-captain since 2007 to 2008. He is famous for scoring 6 sixes in one over in the bowling of Stuart Broad in a Twenty20 match against the team of England in 2007.
He started his one-day cricket career in a match against Kenya at Nairobi in the year of 2000. In that match, he got no chance to bat and gave away 16 runs getting no wicket. But in the next one-day match, he scored 84 runs from 80 balls. He began the test career with a match against New Zealand in 2003 at Mohali. In that match, he scored 25 runs only.
Yuvraj Singh is considered better as a batsman facing the spin bowlers in comparison with the fast bowlers. He is one of the most efficient Indian fielders. He made a maximum number of run-outs in one-day matches from the year of 1999 to the year of 2005.
He has played a total 34 test and 255 one-day matches in his career. His highest scores are 169 and 139 in the test and one-day matches respectively. He has 3 test centuries and 12 one-day centuries. In test, his total run is 1639. For one-day, it is 7478. He also played 78 Tewnty20 matches where his highest score is 71 runs.
