After winning the toss New Zealand choose to bat first and set a target of 222 runs for South Africa. By viewing South African batting lineup it wasn't seeming quite a tough total but great bowling performance by Kiwis. South Africa got bowled on 172 runs. What an upset? But if we see prior four world cups, South Africa could not qualify the knock out stage. But since South Africa was favorite for this match so everyone was predicting that South Africa will beat New Zealand but in the end we got astonishing results as South Africa could not qualify for Semi final.
