Shane Keith Warne, nicknamed Warney, was a former Australian cricket player. He was born in 1969 at Ferntree Gully of Victoria. He is regarded as one of the outstanding bowlers of the cricket world. He became selected as one of the five Wisden Cricketers of the Century by a cricket-expert panel in 2000.
Warne started his first test match against India in 1992 played at Sydney Cricket Ground. In that match, he hunted only 1 wicket from both the innings. He began his ODI career in 1993 in a match against New Zealand at the Basin Reserve Ground of Wellington. In that match, he obtained 2 wickets giving 40 runs from 10 overs.
Warne has played a total 145 test and 194 one-day matches in his career. He hunted ten wickets 10 times in the test match. He obtained five wickets 37 times in the test career and 1 time in the ODI career. Again he got four wickets 48 and 12 times in the test and ODI career respectively. He hunted total 708 test wickets and 293 one day wickets.
