Biography -Tamim Iqbal


Tamim Iqbal is a young Bangladeshi cricketer.His full name is 'Tamim Iqbal Khan '. He was born on 20th March 1989 in 'Chittagong, Bangladesh'. Tamin is the brother of Bangladeshi test player "Nafees Iqbal” and the nephew of "Akram Khan” a famous cricketer in Bangladesh.
He Start his International ODI-One Day International career on 9th February 2007 and scored 83 runs in his first match against Zimbabwe and he made his test Cricket debut career on 5th June 2010 by scoring 50 runs against New-Zealand. His ODI shirt number is 29 .His batting style is 'Left-handed' and his main role in team is as a batsman. He was picked for the 2007 World Cup trophy which he played against India.
Iqbal, scored his maiden century on "Bangladesh's tour of West Indies in July and
August 2009".  He was named as the man of the match as a result of his well performance in this tour. On 25 January 2010 Iqbal scored 151 runs with "Junaid Siddique "as a recorded partnership against India.
Tamim was named as test player of the year by the 'Wisden Criketer Magazine'.
