Pakistan astonish South Africa on day 2

South Africa had a brilliant first day of the test as all their four top order batsmen scored half centuries before they were dismissed. Pakistan clinched the next day by dismissing their last 8 wickets for just 69 runs and Gul giving them the three early break-through.
The way South Africa started the test on the first day their play on the second day was not up to the mark on the second day as they were dismissed to 380, though it’s a pretty good score but their start aroused a hope for an even bigger score from them. Gul did the early damage followed by the spinners to restrict the South African’s from scoring on the second day of the test.
Pakistan was already put on track by the bowlers, when batsmen came on to bat then Taufeeq who had been recalled into the test side after a long break of around four years showed his impetus along with Hafeez giving them a century stand for the first wicket. Hafeez also scored a magnificent half century before he was dismissed by Harris. At the end of the day Pakistan are 144/2 which was a respectable score considering the huge total. In the end it was a contributed effort from the bowlers and the batsmen to get Pakistan into a good situation after a poor start on the first day.
